A lot of pets who end up in shelters are there due to human problems such as divorce, or moving. They didn’t do anything wrong. They’re just waiting for the right family to live with.
Unfortunately, a lot of animals are euthanised if they’re not adopted, so you’ll not only be saving a life, but giving them a good home for life. Plus, all that cuteness in your life will not be a bad thing.
And a benefit is that with a good rescue group, pets are often vaccinated, desexed, wormed and microchipped as part of the adoption fee.
