No, really. If you’re single and want to meet like-minded people who love dogs as much as you do, this is the one for you. There are a lot of venues which offer it, but love The Golden Sheaf’s partnership with The Social Dog Company for their Dating with Dogs afternoons. So if you’re bored of dating apps, awkward first dates, don’t have a dog or have three – come find love and meet like-minded people at Dating with Dogs where anything is paw-sible.

Go to an outdoor movie

How does watching some of your favourite films, outside on a huge screen sound? This will be a fun one. Head to the Moonlight Cinema, where dogs are welcome in all sections including premium areas, Gold Grass and the Connoisseur Lounge. As long as you keep your pet on a leash, you’ll be fine!

They have venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and more.

Have a pooch picnic

This one is quite an easy one to arrange. You, your best mates, or significant other and their best furry mates. All you need is some good (human and dog) food to put on a spread, maybe some games and even a dog-friendly beach or park. Make a whole day of it and go on a walk, which leads right to the picnic destination.

Head to a dog-friendly pub

Is there anything better than a pub? A dog-friendly pub! It’s all about the two p’s – pints and pooches. Head to your local, grab a beer and hang out with people who feel the same way as you do about dog mates.

Stay in a dog-friendly hotel

Make a night of it. You can order room service, have a long bath and even order room service for the dog!

There are some great pet-friendly hotels on our blog here, but we also love these luxury pet-friendly resorts too.

What are your plans for V day? Will you take your dog? Let us know.
