Luckily, there are a few dog-friendly caravan parks in QLD that have dog-friendly facilities, like off-leash areas, dog-washing stations, and even dog parks. So pack up your camping gear and head to the land of sunshine, adventure, and dog-friendly camping!
1. BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park, Helensvale

BIG 4 Gold Coast Holiday Park welcomes the whole family, including four-legged friends, to its fun-filled caravan park. From a water park to a pool and licensed restaurant, it’s safe to say that you’ll get bang for your buck here.
Choose from their dog-friendly sites or dog-friendly cabin, which allows up to 2 pooches. After a day of exploring, spruce Fido up at the onsite ‘Puppy Pampering Palace’ (dog wash). Four-legged guests are also welcome at the ‘doggy poolside cafe’ and can break a sweat in the designated off-leash section.
2. Kirra Beach Tourist Park

With over 40 dog-friendly sites available, Kirra Beach Tourist Park is undoubtedly one of the best dog-friendly caravan parks in QLD! Pooches can frolic in the grassy area and quench their thirst at the water fountain. Fido will be kept fresh and clean thanks to their dog wash facility.

3. The Summit 1770

The Summit 1770 specialises in dog-friendly accommodation, so there’s no doubt that Fido won’t be welcome here! Their dog-friendly eco-park is situated at the front of the property with 10 spacious powered sites. You’ll want to book quickly, as three of those sites have a private dog pen.
Its newly built amenities block boasts a communal kitchen, outdoor dining area and a fire pit. Fido can play until its heart is content in the off-leash dog park. Once your pup has exhausted that section, they can move to a smaller fenced grass area that offers a spectacular sunset view.
4. Fisherman’s Beach Holiday Park

Located right on the beach in the village of Emu Park, Fisherman’s Beach Holiday Park is close to cafes, supermarkets, and a playground. From dog-friendly cabins to powered sites and unpowered sites, there is a range of accommodations for you to choose from.

6. Galaxy Caravan Park
