Adoption & Ales: Raise Money for Greyhound Rescue NSW

Greyhound Rescue NSW is a non-profit animal rescue organisation that’s committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming retired racing greyhounds. Once a greyhound finishes its racing career, they are often discarded and sent to shelters and pounds.

That’s where Greyhound Rescue steps in – their team of volunteers rescue greyhounds and provides various services to give them a second chance at life. From veterinary treatment, socialisation with humans and other dogs and foster care, Greyhound Rescue ensures that retired greyhounds are well-prepared for a happy, healthy life in a loving home.

On Sunday, April 16th 2023, head to Yulli’s Brew for their ‘Adoption & Ales’ event. From 1 pm to 6 pm, you’ll be able to chat with volunteers from Greyhound Rescue and learn more about the great work they do for greyhounds. Bring your friends, family and pup and dig into some delicious food and brews while you help raise money for a good cause.

And if you’re looking for a new four-legged family member, you’re in luck! Come meet greyhounds up for adoption and start an application process for your dream dog. Greyhound Rescue matches each greyhound to families on a case-by-case basis to ensure they’re the paw-fect fit for you. Those that apply to adopt a greyhound on the day will also receive a free LickiMat Enrichment Kit (valued over $100)!

If you can’t make it to the event, there are plenty of other ways you can help Greyhound Rescue NSW. You can volunteer at the kennel facility, donate directly on their website, sponsor a  greyhound, grab some cool merch and more!
