Next, it’s onwards around the bay from New Beach Road to Yarranabbe Park, which has great views of Garden Island and Sydney Harbour Bridge. And if 19th-century properties are your kind of thing, you’ll love this area, with stunning properties such as CarthonaLindesay and Swifts.

As you move further on the walk and reach Steyne Park, expect your dog to prick his ears up because he’ll see his fellow furry friends running around leash-free. Let him have a quick gallop around before moving along from Point Piper to Rose Bay.

Add on a mini adventure and wander down to the secluded Lady Martins Beach with your dog. Just make sure you keep your dog on a leash! Here, you’ll see lovely turquoise waters alongside beautiful views of the famous Harbour! This detour will take you an extra 40 mins, but it’s definitely worth it.

Then it’s time to circle back to Point Piper and head towards Rose Bay Park. But first, you’ll find another little stunner of a beach – Bellamy Beach! This is the perfect place for a picnic, hidden away from the world, and pooches are welcome too.

As you walk along the promenade of New South Road, you’ll eventually reach Lyne Park and Rose Bay ferry wharf. If it’s a nice day, head to the Rose Bay dog beach, where both you and your dog can jump into the water at Rose Bay Foreshore.

We hope you worked up an appetite, as there’s a myriad of Rose Bay restaurants and cute cafes to choose from as you reach Rose Bay Park. No need to choose between your best friend and coffee, visit dog-friendly local cafes such as Sugar & Spoon and many more. Or take advantage of the view and enjoy the sun with a nice picnic.

Whichever way you start this walk, you’re guaranteed to enjoy it!
